The Pons Fabricius

The Pons Fabricius (today's Ponte Fabricio) is an ancient Roman bridge still remaining today, leading from the western shore of the Tiber to the Isola Tiberina, the island in the river. In fact the Pons Fabricius is the oldest original bridge still in use today in Rome, having been built in 62 BC.
