Painted Figures

The figures below, made from plastic are delicately painted and hand finished. They are highly detailed and come very safely packaged, along with some limited historical information.

Each figure comes in a very solid box, either wrapped in a cushion of bubble-wrap (small figures) or encased in a block of styrofoam (large figures). Joint posting of smaller figures may be possible, by taping together their boxes. The largely figures can however only be posted out as separate boxes.

'Claudia pia Fidelis'
The bearer of the eagle standard of a legion was the aquilifer. This one wears a bronze helmet, bears a shield and sword and, naturally, the aquila standard.

'Augusta'

A centurion in chain mail armour, bearing sword and shield. Note also the greaves (shin guards) typical to his rank. His helmet (archaeologically defined: 'Coolus type F') is decorated with a plume of horsehair and feathers.
