The centre of the picture shows the Baths of Nero. In the foreground are the Stadium and the Odeum of Domitian. If the Stadium of Domitian borders the Baths of Nero on one side then on the other side the Baths are bordered by the portico surrounding the Arch of Piety. Overlooking the portico is the Pantheon with its great domed roof.
